The gentle north wind was blowing the dry snow as we had a typical winter air pressure pattern today. There was about 35 cm of new snow even at the base! People headed for Tree Area and Hiedayama Course1~3 by No.4 Pair lift to enjoy deep powder snow.

The soft groomed powder snow was blanketed with about 3 cm of new snow on Hiedayama Rinkan Course and Hiedayama One Course (pictured in the first photo). Over 50 cm of new snow was so soft on today’s my target, Hiedayama Course 2 (pictured).

The snow was perfect powder today, although it had been warm two days before. I felt like I was floating not feeling the ground. Many skiers and snowboardres were enjoying slashing and shouting with joy, although it was snowy and foggy.

I enjoyed skiing in 5~15 cm of new snow on the groomed Ikenota Slope. The slope was filled with a peaceful atmosphere, crowded with beginners.
