We had the 1st ‘First tracks trial’ from 8:15. It was the event limited to the gests of Hotel Green Plaza Hakuba and there was 11 participants (two groups) this morning. You can enjoy sliding down Ipponmatsu Course with beautiful corduroy patterns before opening.

They started sliding down in order and made traces at their own pace. Ipponmatsu Course had compacted granular snow and it was good to slide down with edges catching snow. The event ‘First tracks trial’ will be held on Mar. 10th (Sun.) and 17th (Sun.).

There were many clouds, so we could see blue skies a little in the early morning. There were a lot of people, including beginners, children and parents. The burns with compacted ground were flat and soft with granular covering the surface. There were some small snowballs but it was not trouble for sliding.

From the early to the middle stage of Rabbit Course, we felt cold with south wind. Rabbit Course and Snake Course were flat and compacted well with granular snow, so it was good for sliding. Some children tried snowplow turns with using edges.
