Hakuba Iwatake / △80cm / Snowy & Sunny2020.Mar.11
In addition to the Shimoyama Course, Sunny Valley Course, and Paradise Slope, which were closed from March 9 (Mon) due to the sudden melting of snow due to the rain and wind yesterday, the South Slope and Sawa Courses are closed today. It was raining at the foot this morning, but light snow fell when I got off the gondola. The area was wrapped in gas, and the trees were slightly frosty.

From around 9:00a.m. the clouds melted and the slopes began to shine. North Slope (pictured) and the East Slope (pictured 1) on which fresh snow was riding about 1 cm were smooth and slippery because the snow was tightened moderately while not pressed. I was able to enter each of the well-maintained DCPARK items with confidence.

VIEW C and D also have fresh snow about 1cm on the ground, which is similarly tight as non-compact snow. VIEW D The slopes at the end of the race were carefully slipped because bush and soil were scattered around. A staff at Meiho Ski Resort and Daisen White Resort (pictured) commented, “This is my first time to slide on views C and D of Iwatake. The distance is long and there are changes. It is fun to maintain the snow park. . ”

A 5-year-old lady told me, “I can clear all the items in the park here,” next to her mother from Hakuba, a local village, saying “I’ve come to take a break from kindergarten.” By the way, on Mar, 15 (Sun) this weekend, lift tickets for elementary school students and younger will be free of charge at Ski Children’s Day.
