Tsugaike Kogen / ◎345cm / Slightly Snowy2018.Feb.21
This morning, it was slightly snowing and sometimes foggy, but we could see the blue sky through the breaks of clouds. 2 people from Aichi and Gifu gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports! We come riding to Tsugaike in daytime, and then, going to Goryu for night skiing.”
[Tsuga-no-mori]
The slopes of Tsuga-no-mori and upper Han-no-ki were flat and nicely firm. As I skied down to the middle part, the fog got much thicker, so I went to lower Umanose Course through Rindo Course.
[Han-no-ki]
The visibility was poor from Umanose Course to the beginning part of Shirakaba. 2 students of Kyoto University Snow Panther greeted me there. They said they were practicing skiing toward The 45th Student Ski Competition with other members.
[Shirakaba]
The visibility got better from the middle part of Shirakaba and we could see the whole courses. The groomed slope was nicely firm and flat. Even in the base area, it was snowing and blowing a cold wind.
