In the early morning, the temperature reached -4 ℃ at the summit and -5 ℃ at the foot of the mountain. However, after that the temperature suddenly rose and the gondola moved, I did not feel cold at about 8 o’clock. When I stepped on it, I was able to repeat the turn comfortably on the East Slope, a powder snow compacted slope that squeaks.

DC PARK will open on the North Slope from Jan, 15(Wed)! A 10m thick round rail, a 5m wide BOX, a 3m x 2 step wide BOX, a 5m rail (photo) and a PVC pipe are installed at the beginning, and at the end. Like the East, the North Slope was easy to slide with moderately compacted powder snow.

VIEW C had about 80% of the course width with compacted snow. Hardness increased as we slid down from the beginning which was moderately tight. Two people from Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, said, “I’m always watching! The park has opened, but fresh snow there and it’s VIEW C!”

The man on the left (pictured) also mentioned that “I spent a long vacation at the company (one month) in January this year, so I need more snow to fall (laughs).” VIEW C has 5-8cm of light fresh snow in the non-compact snow area. Only at the end of the course there was a place where the soil bleed brown.
