Hakuba Norikura / ◎220cm / Sunny & Cloudy2019.Feb.20

19022005_hakunoriIt stopped raining and there were much clouds but the sunshine was strong and hot this morning. In the first half of Highway Course, the trace of pistens with wet granular snow glittered. We could speed up making bid arches on the burn because the edge could caught snow more than expected.
[Highway Course]
19022006_hakunoriThe second half of Highway Course and Kamoshika Course had been groomed and they were so compacted to slide down easily. In the groomed burn in Rabbit Course and Wakaguri Chuo Slope, compacted granular snow began to be muddy in the early time because of the high temperature.

19022007_hakunoriThree guys from France and Netherlands had been staying at HAKUBA VALLEY for a week and invited us, “Our lodge is right there. Let’s come and join us to drink beer!”

19022008_hakunoriSatomi Chuo Slope also became muddy like Wakaguri Chuo Slope, so it was hard to slide down. We didn’t feel wind so much, but clouds in the sky were running so fast and it was alternating between being sunny and cloudy.
